Cyclist Comments
Liam Morris Doing this for my Grandma who died from cancer a few years ago, and for anyone else affected by it.
Barry Evans I've always wanted to raise money for such a good cause. The offer of doing this, while watching the beloved stripes was too good to refuse.
David Booth I want to do this because it's for a worthy cause, it's excellent publicity for the Club and its supporters, and I'm sure it will be great fun.
Edward Newton I am biking to help raise money for such worthwhile causes
Matthew Lond I am doing this because i see it as a challenge as a keen cyclist. Taking on a big and difficult route will be worth it if we raise a lot of money for the three benefiting charities.
Jason Paget I like a challenge and getting my beer belly and ageing limbs to Lincoln on a bike will be a challenge and a half. It's for a great cause and I'd like to do my bit.
Ian Blakemore I love the feeling of pain and wanting to be sick after 46 miles of biking.
Josh Lane I'm doing the ride in memory of family and friends who have suffered and for those people who are currently suffering.
Phil Patton Reason I would like to do this is that several members of my own family and my partners family have been affected by cancer, just seems fitting to give something in return for their bravery.
Leon Harding I am biking to the bank for my mum who is currently undergoing treatment for breast cancer. Biking 40 miles is nothing compared to the fight against all types of cancers.
Matthew Newton As it was my idea to stage this bike ride, i was always going to take part, but i will be doing it to raise as much money as possible for the great work that these charities do.
Alex Green I am proud to be taking part in bike ride as I am able to help raise money for charities that I believe in and giving up the beer and burgers is well worth it for cause. And look how much money we're saving on petrol.
